    Salaries for the AAG positions listed above are set between $76,752 – 149,508 annually.  Salary for the DSG position listed above is set between $84,432 - 164,460 annually. The exact amount is set in accordance with Appendix B of the AWAAG CBA.  Salary for the First AAG position listed above is set between $166,667 - 200,000 annually.

    A Seattle civil defense litigation firm has an immediate opening for an Associate Attorney with 3-12 years litigation experience. Admission to practice in Washington is required with admission to practice in Oregon as a plus. Practice will initially focus on insurance coverage.  

     

    This is a rare opportunity for a junior attorney who is looking for a fast-track career jump. Our ideal candidate is ready to be challenged and to take ownership of their own caseload from file opening to file closing. We offer extensive mentorship and training, balanced with a level of autonomy and responsibility not usually given to junior attorneys at other firms.

     

    Primary Responsibilities:

    1. Review, analyze, and draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and subpoenas.
    2. Conduct depositions.
    3. Conduct legal research.
    4. Appear for court hearings and trials.
    5. Maintain accurate time records.

     

    Compensation: $120,000-$150,000 (DOE)

    Pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Subject to certain eligibility requirements, bonus and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, dental and vision insurance benefits, retirement plan and paid time off.

     

    Requirements: 

    • Juris Doctor from an accredited law school. 
    • 3 – 12 years litigation experience. 
    • Admission to practice in Washington.  
    • Experience with motion practice and depositions.
    • Capable of independent work. 
    • Ability to work in an organized and efficient manner. 
    • Superior research and writing skills. 
    • Ability to multi-task. 
    • Ability to analyze complex matters.

    We are seeking a Deputy Chief Health Law Judge to join our leadership team in the Adjudicative Services Office (ASO) within CFRA. Reporting to the Chief Health Law Judge, this role is vital in overseeing ASO operations and guiding Health Law Judges to ensure fair and procedurally sound legal decisions.

    Key Responsibilities:

    •              Leadership: Supervise and mentor a team of five Health Law Judges, ensuring excellence in legal judgment and due process.

    •              Operations: Partner with the ASO Operations Manager to manage hiring, training, personnel coordination, budgeting, and emergency response strategies.

    •              Case Review: Collaborate with CHLJ and Review Judges to uphold legal and procedural standards.

    •              Agency Strategy: Contribute to cross-agency guidance, strategic planning, and policy development to ensure compliance with state and federal requirements.

    Compensation for this position will be determined based on the individual’s qualifications and experience.
