Experienced Estate Planning Attorney (Seattle)
Miller Nash Graham & Dunn (“MNG&D”) is seeking an estate planning attorney to join our team in Seattle and our practice built around sophisticated estate planning and complex estate administration. Our team has significant estate and income tax experience gained from working in CPA firms and from concentrating in income and partnership taxation. We are a technically minded team and expect that our next team member will have a similar background of practical hands-on experience in tax.
We enjoy working together to solve difficult problems. In this group, a collaborative spirit, a team- and client-focused approach, and a sense of humor are all musts. MNG&D estate planners are licensed to practice up and down the West Coast, and our team in Seattle works actively in Washington and California.
Successful candidates will have experience in all of the following areas:
· Planning and drafting complex estate plans;
· Administering complex estates and trusts;
· Tax return preparation; and
· Collaborating with others to achieve clients’ goals.
Candidates who also possess the following skills and experience will be given priority:
· Substantive tax experience in addition to estate tax planning, e.g.:
o Prior experience at an accounting firm;
o Background in income/partnership taxation; or
o Other practical and hands-on tax experience (please describe).
· In addition to license to practice in Washington, license to practice and experience practicing in another West Coast jurisdiction.
