Foster Pepper PLLC seeks a Section 103 tax attorney to join its Pacific Northwest Public Finance practice. The practice involves advising a variety of clients on Section 103 tax issues, federal tax credit transactions (e.g., low-income housing, new markets, and renewable energy tax credits), 501(c)(3) issues, and Indian tribal finance matters.

Foster Pepper’s Public Finance practice is nationally recognized and we are well-known by issuers, underwriters, rating agencies, and bond issuers.  We regularly serve as bond counsel to issuers in Washington, Oregon and Alaska, including the State of Washington, counties, cities and towns, port districts, public utility districts, housing authorities, school districts, public hospital districts, water and sewer districts, irrigation and reclamation districts, fire protection districts and other municipal and quasi-municipal corporations.  In 2015, U.S. News/Best Lawyers survey listed the firm’s Public Finance group as a Seattle Tier 1 practice and a National Tier 2 practice.

Candidates should have a minimum of five years of relevant experience, excellent writing skills, and outstanding academic credentials. LLM and/or experience with tax examinations or voluntary closing agreements would be ideal.  Foster Pepper PLLC is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
