The Bellevue office of Perkins Coie LLP is seeking a junior to mid-level litigation associate to join its Environment, Energy & Resources group. The position will focus on state and federal regulatory matters and litigation for electric and natural gas utilities, including rate cases. This position may include reviewing state and federal agency rules, preparing comments on proposed rules, and counseling clients on compliance with federal and state regulatory requirements, approvals and permits. Experience in one or more of the following areas is preferred: regulated energy generation, transportation and distribution industries; administrative and civil litigation; regulatory compliance; and various environmental laws. Candidates must have excellent academic credentials and references, as well as one to three years of relevant experience.
