Attorney (Product Liability / Toxic Torts)

Schroeter Goldmark & Bender has an immediate opening for a full-time lateral or contract attorney to work with our Toxic Torts team. SGB seeks candidates with at least 3 years of experience and a background in one or more of the following practice areas: complex litigation, toxic or mass torts, product liability, and medical malpractice. We are looking for someone with demonstrated litigation skills, who can work up complex cases through all phases of discovery. The applicant must be a strong writer and have experience with appeals, summary judgment motions, or other complex motions. Trial and other courtroom experience is preferred. The applicant must be licensed in Washington or be able to become licensed in Washington within 6 months. SGB works primarily on contingency, so, while the position is full-time, there are no billable-hour requirements.

  • Salary range of $115,000 – $145,000, depending on experience

Location & Schedule

SGB’s main office is in downtown Seattle on the 34th floor of the new Rainier Square Building at 401 Union Street. The attorney will work three days a week in the downtown office, with an otherwise flexible schedule, depending on the firm’s needs.
