Responsibilities:
Managing employment-based nonimmigrant visa matters (H, L, E, O, P, TN), family and employment-based immigrant visa matters (EB-2/ EB-3 PERM, EB-1 multinational manager/executive, outstanding researcher, extraordinary ability, and National Interest Waivers), and naturalization cases
Developing strategy and drafting complex filings in support of varied matters including RFE responses
Researching, analyzing, and applying regulations and procedure in immigration matters
Communicating regularly with clients regarding case preparation, case processing issues, and case strategy
Supervising the work of paralegal and legal assistant staff
Requirements:
Two or more years of immigration attorney experience handling employment and/or family- based matters strongly preferred
Experience in removal, federal court litigation, and analysis of immigration consequences of crime are a plus
Strong organizational, communication, and writing skills
Ability to build strong working relationships with clients and staff
Experience in managing a varied caseload in a high paced environment
Ability to identify legal issues, analyze facts, and determine appropriate case strategies
A strong interest in following immigration policy developments
Enthusiasm for growth, receptive to constructive feedback, and open-minded
Technically adept – strong basic computer skills, familiarity with immigration-related computer
systems/tools
Self-starter, capable of working independently and collaboratively in a team environment
