Communities Rise is a nonprofit organization with a mission to help build power in communities impacted by systemic oppression. Our office contains a legal unit that primarily serves BIPOC-owned/led small businesses and nonprofits in the Seattle area and across Washington to advance that mission. The attorney will provide a range of transactional legal assistance to help such small businesses thrive. Additional tasks include legal education and collaborating with community partners to leverage additional resources.
