Miller Nash is seeking a full-time employment associate with three to five years of experience to join our team in Seattle, Washington. Our ideal candidate will have experience in employment law, preferably in representation of both public and private management/employers in state and federal courts, as well as agency proceedings. Additional experience drafting policies, handbooks, and employment-related agreements, and advising employers on wage/hour issues, leave law compliance, disability accommodation, and discrimination and retaliation issues, preferred. Traditional labor experience is also a plus.
Our ideal candidate is hard working, exercises good judgment under pressure, responsive, has excellent research and writing skills, self-directed while maintaining the ability to work in a team environment, and ready to hit the ground running on pending cases and immediate client needs. Membership in the Washington State Bar Association or qualification for reciprocity is required. California State Bar license is a plus.
