This CLE is designed to train attorneys, social workers and non-lawyer staff to assist with helping families secure legal parentage orders (second parent adoptions, de facto parentage, and confirmations of parentage) at our QLaw Foundation Family Matters Clinic to be held at a later date, as well as to provide information about family diversity, LGBTQ family experiences in the legal system, and the role of social workers in supporting legal parental relationships.
