Miller Nash Graham & Dunn (“MNG&D”) is seeking a partner-level attorney with 10 or more years of experience representing public school districts and other educational entities to join its Vancouver, WA office. The successful candidate will have experience representing educational institutions in federal and state court and in administrative proceedings, as well as experience providing advice and representation to educational institutions on a wide-variety of legal issues, including public records and meetings, student discipline, collective bargaining and labor issues, constitutional issues applicable to public schools, FERPA, Title IX of the Education Amendments, Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act and the IDEA, the Americans With Disabilities Act, and Title VI of the Civil Rights Act. Strong communication and writing skills, good judgment, analytical ability, and the ability to communicate effectively with people of many diverse backgrounds are required. Portable business preferred. Admission to the Washington State Bar required.
