Managing Attorney for statewide nonprofit association and resource center for public defenders. The position is primarily responsible for supervision of and resource support for program attorneys; oversight of training program; development of resource publications; and coordinating amicus work. Requirements: Seven (7) years of public defender or criminal defense experience with multiple practice areas and qualified under WDA professional standards to represent defendants in Class A felonies. Leadership, supervisory and project management experience required. Experience in developing training programs and materials preferred. Demonstrated understanding of equity and diversity-related issues. Must be licensed to practice law in Washington State or licensed within six months of date of hire.
