Schroeter Goldmark & Bender, 2L Summer Associate, 2025 

Schroeter Goldmark & Bender represents and advocates for people who have been injured,  discriminated against, sexually harassed, deprived of wages, or otherwise harmed by a company or  organization. We believe ordinary citizens need a first-rate legal team working for them when it comes  to protecting their rights and fighting powerful defendants. We are looking for a dynamic, creative, and  smart 2L law student with a diverse background, experience, and ideas to join our team. 

Our summer program is designed to give law students exposure to all aspects of our plaintiff trial  practice. Interns work alongside experienced attorneys and will learn about a variety of practice areas,  clients, and our firm culture. Opportunities will include research, writing, and observation of litigation  events, including depositions, hearings, mediation, arbitration, trial, and appeals.  

Selection Criteria 

When considering candidates, we will apply the following criteria: 

Class of 2026 J.D. student. 

An interest in the firm’s practice areas, including serious personal injury, product liability,  medical malpractice, civil rights, and employment, on behalf of plaintiffs. 

Strong academic credentials, excellent written and oral communication, and persuasive advocacy skills. 

The ability to work independently, as part of a team, and a commitment to the highest quality  client care and service. 

The internship will begin in early June and is expected to last approximately two months. Application Process 

We will begin to review applications on a rolling basis after March 3, 2025. The application process will  remain open until March 14, 2025, or until the summer associate position has been filled. The weekly compensation rate is expected to be $1,250/week.
