Museum of Glass Directions
The Museum of Glass is located in downtown Tacoma in the Museum District:
1801 Dock Street, Tacoma, WA 98402

NOTE: The Museum entrance is on the waterway side of the building, not facing the street.
Use Google Maps for custom, door-to-door driving directions.

From I-5 in Tacoma (north or south):

·      Take Exit 133* (City Center) to I-705

·      Take the S. 21st Street Exit

·      Turn left onto S. 21st Street

·      Turn right onto Pacific Avenue

·      Turn right onto Hood Street (just past the Tacoma Art Museum)

·      Turn right at stop sign onto S. 15th Street which becomes a ramp that curves to the left

·      Turn left onto Dock Street

·      Museum of Glass is on the left

Parking
The City of Tacoma operates a parking garage that is located beneath the Museum of Glass. Entrance to the garage is on the north side of the building (the Cone is on the south end) next to the loading dock. Parking rates are $2.50 per hour. Additional metered parking is available on Dock Street and Pacific Avenue across the Chihuly Bridge of Glass. Free parking is available at the Tacoma Dome Link Station (see below).

 

Public Transportation
The Tacoma Link light rail is a free way to get to the Museum from around downtown. Many visitors take advantage of free parking near the Tacoma Dome, ride to the Link’s 2nd stop, 19th and Pacific, and walk across the Chihuly Bridge of Glass to the Museum.

Pierce Transit provides easy access to the Museum of Glass by bus.

From Downtown Seattle, take Sound Transit’s Seattle Express bus (route 594) or Sounder train.

HOTEL INFORMATION:

The Hotel Murano has reserved 20 rooms on October 12 as a courtesy to WWL.  The group rate of $139 will be available to book starting now.  Overnight parking at the hotel will be $15.  Room reservations can be made 24-hours a day, seven days a week by calling the reservations team toll free at 888-862-3255 and asking for the ‘Washington Women Lawyers’ group rate.
